Meet Our Missionaries

We are proud to support the following missionaries in the work they are doing:

Marcia Woodward

Marcia has been a member of Living Way since she came to know Christ, in 1979. She has served in many places and in many capacities, but is now the Director of Training and Mentoring in the Global Service Program, a new recruitment arm of Wycliffe Bible Translators. This program is geared for those who want to serve short term (6 months to 3 years) and those who want to explore long term service.

Rick and Lenore Brown

Rick and Lenore joined our church when it was first begun over three decades ago. They were our first missionaries, sent out in 1976. Previously they served in Africa, but now Rick travels all over the world as a translation consultant and teacher to other missionaries. They have two adult children and two grandchildren.

Jeff and Terri Dietrick

Jeff and Terri have been part of Living Way Church since 1983. They currently serve in Comitan de Dominguez, Chiapas which is close to the Guatamalan border. Their desire is to impart a world missions vision to the Mexican people, and help local pastors train leadership, oversee building projects, and engage their communities in outreach.

Steve and Debbie Parker

Steve and Debbie  joined Living Way in 1982. They live in Burkina Faso, West Africa. Steve’s main mission is to train national pastors, and Debbie started a literary school that has successfully served hundreds of children and their families.

Bryan and Paula Presson

Bryan and Paula have been members of Living Way Church since 1979. In 1985 they were sent as missionaries by Living Way to Thailand where they worked among the hilltribe groups in church planting and leadership development alongside a national team of evangelists. Now they have relocated back to the Triad where that work continues, as they are now planting a church among the newly arrived Burmese Karen refugees in Greensboro. They have two adult daughters and a son.

Doug and Anne Sampson

Doug and Anne have been part of Living Way for 20 years. They currently live in Waxhaw, NC near a Wycliffe Bible Translators support center, where their main job is to assist with Bible translation in the area of Biblical research. They hope to begin developing scripts for audio dramatizations of scriptures soon. They have an adult son.
