It was on Sunday, March 7th, 2010, that we began our study of the Gospel of Luke entitled When God Came To Earth… and what a wonderful time it has been! Last Sunday, we heard the thirty-seventh sermon from this amazing Gospel, as Ed O’Leary brought the third part of this expository series to a close.
This Sunday, we will begin the fourth and final section of this study, as we hear the first of the last seven sermons in our series. Jesus has now entered Jerusalem, “and everything that is written about the Son of Man by the prophets will be accomplished” (Luke 18:31).
These five remaining chapters of Luke will detail the final days of our Lord’s public ministry…and will climax with the greatest event in human history – the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
